Happiness in the Small Moments

This was done with two different types of paint. The characters are done with watercolors, and the background was painted with acrylics.
Inspiration? I was challenged to create a picture derived from an emotion. I chose "happiness" and the pencil, paint and ink seemed to take care of the rest. Of course, anyone who knows the girl who inspired it would understand how easily it came to be, and why I went with "happiness" (yeah, she's the Fox).
